Nina, SØS Gunver Ryberg Live, Demdike Stare
For the 7th edition of Sample & Hold we are proud to bring you the main project from Miles Whittaker and Sean Canty, Demdike Stare, for a rare club adapted 2x DJ performance in Berlin. With their Ep and album releases on the much appreciated Manchester label Modern Love, the "Testpressing" series and various full lengths over the years they continue to impress peers, press, and to keep a solid footing in the whole techno industrial and experimental scene not being defined by one genre. Denmarks SØS Gunver Ryberg caught our deep attention at the Atonal Berlin festival where she dazed people with her live set of fast beats, dark growling sounds, and obvious deep knowledge in all things electronica. The Hamburg underground venue Golden Pudel showcases the club series "NINA Trifft" where our warm up Dj NINA over the years has invited a long array of techno mainstays, big or new, to the club. Then we have three acts in the outside floor: the Berlin techno duo Berg of the label with the same name, the founder of the ambitious vinyl-only venture "Initial Berlin" Julian Muller, and finally Autre warming up the outside area before sundown.
