A new purveyor of quality house and techno is in town, dealing the best quality house & techno at the Copenhagen venue KB18 on 17th of July with Ray Okpara headlining.
In spite of having Nigerian roots Ray Okpara is very much a product of the influential Mannheim house scene which he is part of together with renowned dj’s like Nick Curly and Johnny D. Ray brings with him a hypnotic style of house with emphasis on percussion, a touch of soul and deep mesmerising landscapes. Ray is the essence of what the SKEUR parties will be about in his groove-based trippy headline set.
Right in that same neighbourhood we find local favourites Strung Fellows that have exited Copenhagen partygoers with their trippy morning sets. They have put out examples of their adventurous dance music on Ton Kind and Half Seas Over lately and we’re happy to have them deliver the closing set this time. Also joining is veteran dj Leragér that has been a firm part of the Copenhagen scene since the late nineties and with him he brings a curious mix of house, techno and breakbeats. On the warmup duty is a homegrown Vesterbro favourite: LOHSE.
We are looking forward to party with you in the wonderfully scorned surroundings of KB18
