Throughout his lengthy career, Gerber has shown both a consistency and a capacity for reinvention – both of which have sustained his extensive stay in the limelight. Deliberately courting both controversy and super-stardom via collaborations with Puff Daddy and flamboyant concepts such as ‘Wisdom of the Glove’ and ‘RUMORS’, he has continuously mastered a tasteful musical agenda while fortunately avoiding the pitfalls of mass-commercialization. As head of both Supplement Facts and now RUMORS, Gerber has conquered a unique and adventurous vision in the direction of his labels, with a roster that includes well-known names like Seth Troxler, tINI, Martin Buttrich, Kate Simko, Lee Curtis, fellow Israeli talent Chaim, and others – either anticipating their rises or catching them at the peak of their abilities. Given his famous friends/affiliates and a resume which includes multiple releases on Cocoon, Cadenza, Bedrock, Visionquest, and of course his own imprints, it’s not surprising that Gerber spends the greater portion of his time globetrotting and playing on an A-list of the world’s most prestigious nightclubs and festivals.
