We first heard Vadim back in 2009 when he performed a couple of small shows here in NYC and for the few of us that where there it really blew our minds. We've continued to follow his career and his one of few artists that has remained real to his sound without following any hype that's around.
His dedication and talent are reflected on each and every release he's put out, from his first one on Jules and his label Makesense to his Synthérapie on LumièresLaNuit.

It is in the early 2000's that Jules Eugene began his path into electronic music. By the time, it is the micro-house Berlin sound that kept his attention and awoken his curiosity. Not long after, he started to attend regularly parties at the legendary Rex club in Paris. It is there that he improved his music knowledge and discovered artists such as Ricardo Villalobos or Zip. It is naturally that not long after Jules Eugene started gathering records from labels such as Perlon, Playhouse, Logistic, Cadenza, Lo-Fi Stereo, Trelik and many mores.
In 2009, Jules Eugene left Paris to move to New York where he still resides. During this year he met his future partner the Paris based artist Vadim Svoboda. In 2011, their mutual love for organic and analog grooves pushed them to found their own record label Makesense.
These days, Jules Eugene spends most of his time in his studio in Brooklyn improving his production skills as well as managing his label and digging records.
His knowledge and love for electronic music will guarantee you a dj set range between deep and micro-house to old school and contemporary techno delivered exclusively in vinyls as he remains a lover of his heavy record bag.
