Situated close to North Greenwich tube station (5 min walk) on the Jubilee Line (3 stops from Stratford and 4 stops from London bridge), it’s a stones throw from the The O2 Arena + Emirates London Cable Car providing fantastic views of London’s backdrop. This temporary venue has laid host to legendary art collective SHUNT (The Boy Who Climbed Out of His Face) and was recently transformed into 'Heartbreak Hotel' - a dilapidated love motel in the Wes Anderson mould. It has to be seen to be believed. Preview the video teaser: https://vimeo.com/135371060 ReviveHER take over the Hotel’s huge river view terrace and lobby bar to host the mother of all FREE parties in the sunshine! In support of our AMAZING guests from across the globe we have TPI’s custom made surround sound unleashing high fidelity bliss across the water…and our giant disco ball! There will also be street food available all day. Join us on set as we Revive this ‘former diamond of seaside revelry’ for one last hurrah! Greenwich Peninsula remains committed to programming pop up events for a variety of unique venues across the site. It was tricky convincing the various stakeholders to license this happening - it will be the only outdoor music / club event of this type taking place this summer so don’t miss out! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Suzanne Kraft (Running Back / Animals Dancing / LA) Suzanne Kraft flies in from LA to make his UK debut fresh off the back of his album, RA podcast and Boiler Room appearance with DJ Harvey. Steadily turning heads with unexpected gems, new and old, for his weekly Things of Life show on dublab, Suzanne Kraft has amassed a cult status since unleashing his inimitable productions. Suzanne Kraft, born Diego Herrera, is the swiss army knife of electronic musicians. In the past year or so, he's issued the ambient Missum EP for Running Back; a LP as Blasé with Eddie Ruscha for ESP Institute; a tough techno leaning 12-inch as Dude Energy for Animals Dancing (a huge underground anthem this year played by anyone who’s anyone); an experimental two-tracker for Melbourne institution In My Place and Talk From Home and a sublime chill-out album for Jonny Nash's Melody As Truth Following in the genre-blending footsteps of Angeleno forbears like Lovefingers, DJ Harvey and frequent collaborator Secret Circuit, Suzanne Kraft's future glows bright, hazy and funked up like the California sunset. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ DJ Nature (Golf Channel / Jazzy Sport / NYC) A rare UK appearance, DJ Nature returns for the first time since his “Nature” UK debut at ReviveHER back in 2012. There’s very few DJs that can boast a career of 30 years DJing. The elusive Milo Johnson aka DJ Nature’s return to the top was well worth the wait. His career began with a well known UK soundsytem (check the BBC4 / Dazed documentary http://bit.ly/1KP0DDp). In the 80s he exported records and streetwear between Tokyo and NYC, building relationships with Stussy, DJ Kudo and consequently James Lavelle, touring with the Jungle Brothers, DJ Cash Money and Public Enemy. He also co-recorded “We Know” with for the David Chapelle film “Half Baked”. In NYC 89’, he was introduced to the sounds of Larry Levan at The Choice, Little Louie Vega at The Sound Factory and Tony Humphries at Zanzibar It was there that the house sound of Nature Boy was born and a series of underground bombs on Tomato Records and an album on Black Label NYC followed. He shared remix credits with Chez N Trent, Carl Craig and *Deep Dish for a Naomi Daniel EP. Milo waited 15 years before his first 12 inch “Win, Lose and Dance” on Golf Channel Recordings. It put the newly named “DJ Nature” back on the map. Licensed by Ministry of Sound for their “Underground Disco” compilation, it received a rare 4.5 from Resident Advisor’s Todd Burns His next “Fwd Ever” E.P. found it’s way into the sets of DJ Harvey, Gilles Peterson, Tim Sweeney, Vakula and many more, ending up on numerous end of year charts. His reputation as a producer grew stronger with a steady flow of releases on Golf Channel including the well received album “Return of The Savage” and last year saw the release of another album + two EPs all on Japanese label Jazzy Sport as well as an additional release with Kuniyuki Takahashi. There were also numerous remixes on Delusions of Grandeur, Wolf + Lamb, Futureboogie Recordings ...) DJ Nature sets display a penchant for fresh underground sounds, leftfield house and off the radar classics: whether its via Boiler Room, closing out 2014 at Southbank Festival or supporting DJ Harvey, the prolific house music veteran is highly respected by all heads. We're blessed to have him back in such a unique setting. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Otologic (Animals Dancing / Melbourne) Animals Dancing resident DJ / co founder Nick Murray of Otologic, joins label artist Suzanne Kraft to play a day time set, following a recent move to London Born out of the depths of the Mercat Basement in 2008, Otologic + Tornado Wallace have been wowing captive, unpretentious audiences with their 8 hour sets for their monthly C Grade parties (RIP) for 7 years, with each one finishing later than the last! With both of them joining forces some years ago with Melbourne’s go to DJ / care bear / party animal, Andee Frost, Animals Dancing was born. Abiding by a similar booking policy to ReviveHER, Animals Dancing have since brought a diverse wealth of international talent to their lawless parties in Melbourne and are now enjoying cult status with the addition of the record label. The 1st release saw Tom (Otologic) make waves last year with his Tornado Wallace collaboraton: “Kookaburra” under the name Coober Pedy University Band; whilst Nick has forthcoming material readied with Andee Frost and Kris Baha. Otologic have also released on Soft Rocks Kinfolk label. In Melbourne, the duo have done it all from warming up for legends Harvey + Weatherall, to featuring at clubs and festivals Australia wide such as Splendour In The Grass, Rainbow Serpent Festival, Dark Mofo, Strawberry Fields, Summadayze, Parklife, Stereosonic Music Festival, Future Music Festival and even closing the Meredith Music Festival. The duo have alos been called upon in Berlin, Tokyo, London and Glasgowʼs famous Sub Club on multiple occasions. Exporting the Otologic and Animals Dancing brand to the big smoke, Nick has hit the ground running, with regular European gigs, his own monthly show on NTS Radio and can be seen most days expanding his knowledge, working the counters at Kristina Records serving the savviest clientele. It will be his first ReviveHER set since his UK debut at our 4th Birthday Stevie Wonderland DJs Hugely popular party outfit Stevie Wonderland also join the ranks for this one with some daytime disco action. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ BY NIGHT: Secret Shoreditch Art Gallery + Basement / 10pm - 6am Afterwards we head to our favourite hideout amongst the inner circle - a closely guarded secret underneath a gallery in the heart of Shoreditch. We can go until 6am and be a law unto ourselves ;) Tornado Wallace (Animals Dancing/Melbourne) A very special guest is flying in to headline the afters. Closely affiliated daytime guests Suzanne Kraft and Otologic, they come together to play exclusively for ReviveHER. We expect him to make a "whirlwind” appearance, taking the dance floor by storm. Look forward to some B2B action as things get messy and we all let loose... As space is highly limited, we advise purchasing tickets in advance, granting you a priority pass to the daytime too. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ** Admission For After Party ** As space is highly limited, we advise purchasing tickets in advance, granting you a priority pass to the daytime too: £5 ADV - bit.ly/1UaRpFV Ticket holders for our 5th Birthday will be added to the priority free guest list + queue jump for both day and night.
