Comport Records proudly presents their live electronica concept HOTCHPOTCH during this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event. Special double-showcase is the ADE set up: Dansor’s ‘Theory Of Love’ live debut album presentation & Zagar’s first performance in Amsterdam.
Dansor is a multifaced DJ, producer, live act, visual designer, and the brains behind Comport Records. Born and raised in Budapest (Hungary), she's currently living in the Netherlands. Her style can be described as a mixture of cosmic house, neo funk/jazz and indietronica.The earlier released first album single ‘Theory Of Love’ incl. Animal Picnic & Jiggler remixes has been received very well internationally and her second single ‘Women Are From Venus’ will be out just before ADE with remixes of Thomas Gandey (Cagedbaby) and Zoe Xenia. Dansor - also the former winner of Pete Tong’s Bedroom Bedlam and Dave Clarke’s ADE Demolition - will be accompanied by Wouter de Buck on drums and Marta Golka on bass.
Zagar started out as three-fifths of the Yonderboi Quintet after a few years and some critical success, keyboard player Balázs Zságer (Žagar’s namesake) splintered off to form a new band, exploring more experimental avenues in their music. Zagar is one of the most significant bands of the burgeoning Eastern European electronica scene. Their hit single, 'Wings of Love' earned heavy radio play and was nominated at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Several tracks from their latest album, Light Leaks have been played by BBC radio. American CSI series has also picked up Zagar tunes many times. Their tracks tracks were remixed by Terry Lee Brown, Jr. and Moonbotica among many others.
