• Max Romeo’s marathon career has had a huge reach and influenced a vast number of reggae and roots artists. His links to the U.K have remained strong and this has given us an opportunity to present you with this rare show. With a back catalogue longer that the Great Wall of China, Romeo will be filling the evening with all his iconic reggae and roots classics. The show itself will be a voyage through the history of Max’s career and Jamaican culture itself. Having written songs through all the trials and tribulations that Jamaica has faced in the last 50 years brings another level of honesty and significance to his music, which makes each of his shows all the more special. Having been pioneers of the jungle music scene and having worked with artists such as Skrillex and Plan B the Ragga Twins are well versed at giving their audiences an energetic and unforgettable performance. The Ragga Twins will be joining Wrongtom onstage. The versatile DJ will be bringing the same level of showmanship and energy that he has brought to his shows all over the world in Shanghai, Southampton and even the bakery at the former Yugoslavian Army Barracks (as for how that last one went down, we will leave that to your imagination). For DJ Vadim little more needs to be said than on average he performs 170-180 shows a year and has played in over 63 countries. His original blend of soul and world soundscapes, complemented by a mixture of driving hip hop beats laced with reggae and roots influence, is an unmistakable style that can only be associated with DJ Vadim himself. Be prepared for a night filled with all aspects of roots and reggae culture as these individual and original artists demonstrate why they are each the champions of their own scenes.
