- We are delighted to announce the return of DoubleDrop to one of the capitals tightest venues. This October 3rd we bring our show to Bloc (aka Autumn Street Studios) and it promises to be a cracker. After a string of successful parties, we say goodbye to the summer and head into our winter season with a big send off at our latest venue, a 500 capacity warehouse in East London just of the A12 - fully kitted out with a full Funktion One sound system! This time we really have left no stone unturned in our quest to make sure we provide quality nights and have a bit of something that you don't get anywhere else. We have secured the services of one of London's best lighting controllers to really make this show something special. For us here at DoubleDrop the most important aspect of any event is the music and we have turned to some of our best performing DJs - our residents! With everyone working hard on creating beats and sculpting their own sounds it's going to be on point all night. We are really excited to (finally) have Fabio Lendrum grace our decks. He is a London based producer that has been making waves in the house scene - recently he has been signed to Steve Lawler's world-famous ViVa Music. Alongside that he has released on various other labels such as Domino Effect and D-Vine. His sets are known for his mix of the best of Digital and Vinyl to create a totally unique experience. We look forward to watching him rock the warehouse! Of course we welcome DoubleDrop founders Sam Sullivan & Smokey Joe. The have been locked up in the studio since the last DD and we are eager to see what the boys bring to Bloc. Expects old school sounds mixed with new, with lots of Acid licks and deep bass lines. If their recent sets are anything to go by then the party is going to be jumping until 8am! We also welcome back to the DoubleDrop decks residents the Acid Kids. A mix of Pablo Casa and Atk!ns, these boys have really excelled on the London underground scene. An onslaught bookings suggests to us that the boys are doing something right! The boys have also been working hard in the studio to bring you some exclusive sounds. Our residents James Anthony, Tommy Martin, Classic Wabaso & Joseph Berry will all be making appearances too. Expect Classic & Joe to bring you their smooth interpretation of techno, mixing minimalistic sounds with interesting bass lines that really will transport you to another dimension. Not to mention favourites James & Tommy, our boys from the beginning have upped their games ever since the first time they played for us. They will be bringing their own unique sounds and they sure know how to get a dance floor really wanting more. We have spared no expense to make this one of the best Double Drops yet.
