Lateral Piece by Piece EP Launch & Adrian Bell (World) returns
This month we hold aloft two of the great talents to come out of Melbourne in recent times. Machine Label artist Lateral joins us to coincide with the launch of his latest explosive EP Piece By Piece, and Adrian Bell head honcho of Bunker fame returns from his international jaunt which saw him play at world techno icon Tresor Club of Berlin.
We at Machine are proud to be in the position to fly the local flag, to continue in what has become a tradition of celebrating the crews and artists that surround us in this burgeoning artistic city. Gone are the days of old where local crews saw themselves as acrimonious rivals; we truly believe that with an attitude of support and care, we can all prosper and benefit from each others success. With this in mind we acknowledge Bunker as a crew and party collective that have done enormous things for techno in this town since their inception in 2013, and from that outfit of ACM, Jake McDonald & Adrian Bell, it is the latter that joins us this month.

We proudly announce the launch of our latest Machine Label EP courtesy of LATERAL with his absolutely rocking Piece by Piece 4 tracker (read about below). Lateral is no stranger to Machine, having played for us several times, bringing his trademark composure and carefully constructed compositions to the time slot. He is a special artist, one who reads the state of play, and plays to the room in such a way as to summon the best from the moment. It is an elevating capacity. And he looks like Tommy 4 Seven, which makes people confused but happy.
ADRIAN BELL (World)
Adrian Bell is the techno love child of the world. He skips continents and poses for awkward pics. He is an arbiter of debasing modesty which belies his wit and most importantly, his uncanny talent behind the decks. The word craft should be used in a sentence about him. People dance when he plays. He plays, we dance, we skip and frolic, because Adrian Bell brings it, and we welcome him home from his sprawling world tour.
