- Red Bull Music Academy sets the stage for an adventurous evening of sonic experimentation, featuring a selection of performers from this year’s class of participants. Gareth Anton Averill, an Irish full-time composer and sound designer for film and television, will showcase his John Carpenter-inspired compositions under his Great Lakes Mystery guise. Brazil’s Luisa Puterman dives deep into a playful whirlwind of feedback loops, and Belgium’s Hiele will wrangle a wild concoction of sounds from his trusted synth arsenal. Rounding out the lineup is Parisian selector Iueke of French label Antinote. Prepare to immerse yourself in a colorful, synaesthetic world of soundscapes and post-classical composition methods.
