David August & Ensemble is comprised of a revolving troupe of instrumental musicians performing live, improvised, and rearranged pieces on-stage.
Directed by electronic music artist David August, the Ensemble reinterprets his compositions and traverses a range of styles and sounds throughout the performance — from beatless ambient explorations, to ecstatic walls of sound.

Hij die in 2014 op de vierde plaats eindigde van Resident Advisor's Best Live Act poll (alleen voorafgegaan door Recondite, Âme en KiNK), de man die piano speelt sinds zijn 4e, remixen maakt voor The Acid, Max Cooper en meer. En natuurlijk de man van het album Times (Forgive Me If I Bleed, Velvet, For Eternity, ...) en dezelfde man die podcasts maakt voor Innervisions. Hij dus. Nu live met Ensemble.
