- ast year saw us bring everyone from BONOBO, DIMITRI FROM PARIS, SWAMP 81 and DETROIT SWINDLE as well as our hero LATE NITE TUFF GUY to Birmingham and they truly were some our most eccentric and hedonistic parties! Our manifesto has always been to introduce Birmingham to the most exciting artists with the raw energy and vibe of a party taking care of itself! This season we’re pulling out all the stops by throwing all our attentions into the quality of the DJ’s we bring to Birmingham! Not only are we bringing some of our favourite debuts to Birmingham but we’re also giving you guys the chance to see some rare appearances in a truly intimate setting as we know that’s the only way to truly experience these incredible DJs. By now you know the deal! We’re all about underground music in an underground setting and for our return to Birmingham we could think of no better place than Blackbox to showcase the euphoric stylings of Jonas Rathsman! We’ve followed him around festivals all summer and each time we’ve caught him the vibe has been electric! For our long awaited return to Birmingham we’re hosting a two room affair with a firm favourite of ours. Underground collective CACHE, known for their eccentric combination of visuals and vinyl only sounds will be hosting the Terrace outside. Cache continue to bubble under the surface, throwing secret parties for those in the know with a selection of brum’s finest selectors. A perfect partnering to the night. Summer is behind us but Autumn is truly here and we’re ready to step back into the club and sweat it out on the dancefloor! JONAS RATHSMAN Jonas Rathsman’s productions have an undoubted ability to work the dancefloor, with support from Dixon through to Pete tong, Jonas’s productions and DJ sets have marked him out as a rising star in the house music scene. We like to catch people before they blow up and Jonas Rathsman is just about ready! As well as his own French Express label Jonas has released on Disclosure’s method label with his huge summer hit ‘Wolfsbane’! This absolute belter has been smashing it at all the festivals this summer. But for us it’s his DJ sets that are a must see, he truly knows how to give you a work out on the dancefloor and we can’t wait to take Blackbox by storm with his disco tinged house! This season we’re focusing our attentions on rare and intimate shows, offering the select few the chance to catch incredible artists in limited capacity settings. We couldn’t think of anyone better to fly in from Sweden for the occasion!
