The UK's answer to Beautiful Swimmers, Manchester's Ruf Dug is responsible for some of our favourite records in the past few years on labels such as Public Possession, Rhythm Section, Unknown to the Unknown and his own Ruf Kutz label. He's played everywhere from Panorama Bar to Plastic People, and finally makes his debut appearance in Glasgow.
Tolouse Low Trax aka Detlef is the shadowy figure behind one of the greatest clubs in Europe, Dusseldorf's Salon des Amateurs. Together with fellow residents Vladimir and Gordon Pohl, they've fathered a fruitful scene in the city - nurturing the likes of Lena Willikens, Jan Shulte aka Wolf Müller and his Themes for Great Cities label, to name but a few. In addition to releasing his own music, Detlef also plays in the influential Krautrock band, Kreidler who have released almost as many albums in their 21 year legacy. He plays live.
