The Nest welcomes the incredible Seven Davis Jr as he plays every Friday night in November. Ready to show us his worlds and universes through four personally curated billings, we’re excited to see where Seven takes us…
Inspired by his debut album of the same name, Universes at The Nest will see the likes of Funkineven, Sassy J, Marcellus Pittman, Josey Rebelle, Andrew Ashong, Reginal Omas Mamode IV, Osunlade and Tasker come together for Seven’s winter series. Featuring friends and those who have inspired him as well as a live performance from Seven himself; these four parties delve into SDJr’s past, present and future.
For the opener, Seven has invited down Apron Records boss FunkinEven and eclectic Swiss party starter Sassy J. FunkinEven has been plying his trade as a playful house crusader for some time now, collaborating with Kyle Hall and releasing on esteemed label Eglo, run by Alex Nut and Floating Points. Sassy J's own Patchwork party has seen everyone from Theo Parrish to MF DOOM come to perform - together they'll be the perfect soundtrack to Seven's universe.
