- An exercise in tolerance, togetherness and freedom. Move freely in support of those who can’t. Come together for a grouse day of live music and selections from some of our favourites in support of a great cause. At this rate there will 4.27 Million Syrian refugees by the end of 2015, which makes it one of the largest mass exoduses in history. As much as we might like to think that our government does not reflect the society we live in, it unfortunately does. While the money raised from this event would make a negligible difference to the lives of those still in danger and fleeing, we can do our part in changing attitudes and norms within our own society. By welcoming them with open arms, we begin to aid in the process of healing.
