Daniel Bell was the first American dj to move to Berlin there full time in 2000. His ties to Berlin go back to performing live with Richie Hawtin at the Berlin Independent Days in 1991.
He's worked closely with Tresor Club and label (http://tresorberlin.com/) for over 20 years. He's djed at Berghain/Panorama Bar (http://www.berghain.de/) regularly for 15 years.
In 2008, Daniel performed with Stefan Betke aka Pole (keyboards) and Hanno Leichman (drums) at Club Transmediale (http://www.ctm-festival.de/news/) as Daniel Bell and friends. This concert was more experimental in nature.
He's performed over 50 times as Cybersonik with Richie Hawtin from 1991 to 1993 and was the opening act for Moby and Prodigy in their first 33 date American tour.
He has djed and played live as DBX extensively throughout the world for over 20 years.
Starting from 1992, his music became one of the main inspirations for a more streamlined and minimalistic approach to house and techno music productions.
