20 hours of darkness a day, freezing cold winds, dysfunctional public transportation – Berlin is a rough place in winter. But there’s one good thing about it, that makes up for everything: Soon it’s time for our legendary New Year’s Eve amok rave: HIPPIE NEW YEAR!
Headlining this year: Digitalism. After spending the summer in the studio, they’ve proudly presented us their new album and will now rocket you into 2016 playing a massive DJ set with a good portion of bass and melody. Let’s hope for one or two of their brilliant new tracks, too! Co-headlining will be the incredible live act HVOB. They’ve been touring the world with their highly acclaimed last album „Trialog“. By now „sold out“ is their middle name, so you better grab the chance to see one of their rare club gigs. HVOB is not the only Stil vor Talent act, we’ve invited for this special occasion. Be prepared for some more of our favourites from the realm of Oliver Koletzki’s infamous record label, such as Niconé & Gunjah or Niko Schwind. Of course, there’s no HIPPIE NEW YEAR! without our all time favourites and longtime Ritter Butzke friends like DJ Aroma, Jens Bond, Marc Poppcke, Lt.Dan, Marion Cobretti, Prismode and Solvane. Speaking about Berlin’s finest you can’t do without Midas 104. He’s a master in the field of live sets and his gigs as well as his own productions are always simply excellent. There’s hardly any better way to say: Goodbye 2015, it’s been a pleasure - hello 2016, it’ll be a blast! Hippie New Year everyone!
