ONEMAN (Rinse.FM | UK)
Oneman is a club DJ through and through. As much as his sets may have started turning heads by melding old school UK garage with DMZ style dubstep, he’s proven through his DJ sets and his regular presence on London institution Rinse FM that he can do so much more than just marry classics with current beats. Whether through his famed hip hop & R&B sets for The Boiler Room, the festival smashing back to back sets with Jackmaster as Can U Dance or opening for dance titans such as SBTRKT and Major Lazer, Oneman has that rare ability to destroy any party and leave you in no doubt who it was you’ve been listening to. Oneman, in his own, understated way, changed the face of British dance music.
He has a way of pulling off the unconventional every single time, whether it's long, extended blends that sound like they shouldn't work or a hardpan from 2010 to 1998. Fabric went on to applaud Oneman by stating, “There are DJs that are heavily tied to styles, people who go on to become figures synonymous with a certain sound or a particular approach to mixing; and then there are DJ’s DJs – a different breed of people who manage to make the whole process of blending records from disparate genres look (and sound) seamless. Since he first took to DJing in 2008, Fens (Matt Rohr) has carved his way through Boston parties and worked with teams like Mmmmaven, JASS, CreateSpace, as well as his own Banana Peel Records. Fens has always placed an emphasis on new and fresh, which brings him to his involvement with Shake!, where he continues to help bring Boston the best in dance music. Hosting a weekly mix show on local station 90.3FM WZBC, he has been delivering well crafted selections from a wide variety of backgrounds. And you can always expect quality and diversity, both known and otherwise.

Co-Founder of the locally based DRAW collective, somekid works to blend the familiar with the experimental both for the club and the outsiders who take cover in it.
