Cracking line up, what? Yep November is a hell of a month, so much good music, so many good times. This time we’re inviting Liebe*Detail artists Matthias Meyer & Pablo Sanchez to come play!
Matthias Meyer (Liebe*Detail / Watergate)
Dj, Producer and Liebe*Detail key artist Matthias Meyer hails from the quiet town of Lueneberg, near Hamburg, Germany. As a young, excited music lover, the hi-tech sounds of Detroit and Chicago spoke to Matthias, and encouraged him to seek the excitement and hustle of nearby Hamburg's diverse club scene.
It didn’t take long for the young Matthias to release his debut track, 'Reichenbach', on Hamburg's much-loved Liebe*Detail label in 2006. A tough and powerful, big-room bomb, Reichenbach summed up the Meyer's broad mixture of influences, from Detroit's technical wizardry to the musicality and experimentation of Germany's fresh faced electronic movement. In 2008 however he really hit his stride with his bomb track 'Tout Va Bien,' that really defined Matthias Meyer's current musical direction. A long, meandering, deeply spaced percussive journey, full of intricate detail and raw, organic textures.
Matthias has broken through into spotlight thanks to his uniquely passionate take on the house and techno genres. His love of rich, energetic club music full of texture, life and heart propels him to work more and more. His work as a Dj allows him to bring this very human, endearing quality to an increasingly large audience.
Pablo Sanchez (Liebe*Detail / Moodmusic / BCN)
Pablo is a Venezuelan Dj & Producer living in Barcelona via Brooklyn. He found himself traveling the World in search of good music & good waves at an early age.
His music career started in NYC in the late 90’s with a good push start from the legendary Satellite Records. He became part of the city´s music scene Djing and around the year 2001 he made his first studio recordings and live shows with the project Soul Dynamics alongside neighbourhood friend Alexi Delano.
After NYC, he landed first in Madrid and then in Barcelona, Spain where he currently launches out to the rest of Europe DJing in places like Stockholm, Berlin, Budapest, Moscow, and countless more as well as different festivals like Sonar in Barcelona.
His releases can be heard on labels like Moodmusic, liebe*detail, Apersonal, Lovemonk, Galaktika, GAMM and Wonderwheel records among others.
On the Dj side you will hear sounds from Detroit, Chicago, NYC or Berlin during any of his sets. His sessions oscillate seamlessly around electronic, warm, and deep textures always on the uplifting side of things.
