ABOUT_Jamie McCue
Jamie McCue is the heart and soul of Silent Season, a record label based out of the Comox Valley of British Columbia. Influenced by the natural surroundings in B.C., the sounds of Silent Season grew out of the connection between deep ethereal sounds and the mossy rain forests of Vancouver Island - a soundtrack to some of the most radiant and aural beauty in the world. While still a young label, SS has already taken the high honour of Resident Advisor's Label of the Month for it's attention to originality and detail in the world of ambient and dub techno, home to artists such as ASC, Segue, Refracted, and Edanticonf. For Cascadian Architextures however, Jamie plans on sharing some of his deeper techno influences with the dance floor.

Somewhere between the motile crawl of tonal ambience and the inexorable riot-march of Detroit Techno, Portland, Oregon's WNDFRM represents vast planetary landscapes, the micro-cosmos of aural particulate, and an intense desire to fuse the abstract with the concrete. With performances at prestigeous festivals such as Mutek and Decibel under his belt, and a most recent vinyl release on Germany's legendary Prologue Records, WNDFRM continues to break down the boundaries between ambient, dub, and techno with a signature sound like no other.
