- GZUG are pleased to be bringing one of UK Bass’s major players to Guangzhou this month: Plastician. Having been a key figure in the development of both Dubstep and Grime throughout the 2000s, Plastician has remained at the forefront of the Bass Music scene not only as a producer and DJ, but also running the influential Terrorhythm Recordings and hosting a hugely popular radio show on Rinse FM. If that wasn’t enough, joining him will be special guest ConRank, the London-born/Shanghai-based producer and DJ who has become one of China’s most respected Bass Music figures. Conrank has built up a solid fan base throughout the country, regularly winning over the crowds at underground parties and huge festivals alike, and collaborating with artists as varied as DJ Shadow and Sa Ding Ding. Alongside these two heavyweights will be GZUG DJs Simon B, Bass Panda and Failed State bringing their usual eclectic selections from all over the musical map.
