Kuniyuki Takahashi è un sound designer e produttore di Sapporo, Hokkaido, in Giappone. Inizia la sua carriera di produttore nel 1997 con l'alias FRR HIVE e debutta con un mini album per BASSMENTAL. Con l'alias KOSS pubblica un album per soundofspeed nel 2001 e un live album per la stessa etichetta nel 2002. Nello stesso anno con l'alias Kuni pubblica anche un EP 12" per la Lifeline Records, e presentandosi come Kuniyuki, l'EP "Precious Hall" per Natural Resource, una divisione dell'etichetta di Joe Claussell, Spiritual Life Music.
Senza dubbi è uno dei migliori segreti della scena musicale giapponese. DJ internazionali come Henrik Schwarz, Joe Claussell, Dego, DJ Cosmo, Jimpster per citarne alcuni, rimangono entusiasti e stupefatti nel sentire le sue produzioni, che adesso molti di loro stanno rilanciando tramite le proprie etichette discografiche. Lavora a stretto contatto con la crew di soundofspeed da qualche anno e, oltre a produrre musica con la loro etichetta, si esibisce con loro in live performance negli storici party della crew organizzati abitualmente a Tokyo. Occasionalmente suona per le serate come Big Chill, in escursioni in Austria e in giro per l'Europa.
Kuniyuki Takahashi is a sound designer and producer who is based and works in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. He started out in 1997 as FRR HIVE, and released a mini album for BASSMENTAL. As KOSS, he released a full-length album out of soundofspeed in 2001, and a live album CD for the same label in 2002. With the alias Kuni he also released a12inch EP from Lifeline Records in 2002, and in the same year as Kuniyuki he released the 12" EP "Precious Hall" for Natural Resource, a division of Joe Claussell's Spiritual Life Music label.
He is no doubt one of Japan's best kept secrets. International DJ's such as Joe Claussell, Dego, DJ Cosmo, Jimpster to name but a few, have been falling over themselves when they heard his produced tracks, resulting in some of them releasing his works through their own labels. He has also been working closely with the soundofspeed crew over the past few years, and other than producing for their label, he performs live with them in their famed parties which are held regularly in Tokyo, and sometimes in parties such as the Big Chill and in excursions to Austria and Europe.
