Raised in Texas, he currently resides in New York City where he produces, writes art criticism and ad copy, and teaches humanties at NYU. After several years playing fuzzed-out keys in rock bands, William started Night Plane, which he has flown solo since 2009. His live set is a potent brew of dreamy indie-house and fiery rock-inspired electro. Frequent vocal contribution from high school buddy Casey Gibbs turns tracks into songs, reaching further into the sky to write Night Plane's message in the clouds. William's musical style first caught the world’s notice when his dream-house gem Str8 2 Ur Heart caught on fire, championed by A-list DJs around the globe.Then his haunting tune Parallel Lines was released by No.19, and his well-loved remix of Undertow by LA girl rockers Warpaint lit up deep house dance floors.Since then Night Plane has helped launch Soul Clap’s record label with his Madchester-inspired Heartbeat EP and delved into ambient territories with his Space Out West LP and a contribution to Throne of Blood’s lauded Moon Rock series. Simultaneous to the Night Plane project, in 2010 William founded CCC together with DJ Harry Bennett. The CCC record label output includes Str8 2 Ur Heart as well as the barnstorming Acid Snow and a number of deep-house tinged indie remixes. CCC’s first book, On Acid: A Field Guide to Altered States explores psychedelia in contemporary art and literature and was recently acquired by the MoMA library Bon Spengler This Texas native grew up listening to Acid Rock, Funk, Soul, Disco, Electronica, and Hip-Hop records. She refined her sound in the electronic scene by frequenting underground clubs and raves in the United States, U.K. and Europe. For the past 8 1/2 years she's been the host of Proton Radio's weekly underground streaming radio show dubbed "Bedroom Bedlam and currently for the past 5 years she's been an A&R representative for Proton Radio, Proton Limited and Proton SoundSystem digital music labels. Ultimately giving her the exposure and experience needed to shape her unique mixing style and sound-print of her own, allowing her freedom to play a variety music styles under the monikers Hello Humanoids, Bon, Bon Spengler, or BONS. Depending on the time, night, or venue you will hear deep versions of techno-house disco when djing the occasional festival, underground warehouse parties, after-hour and club gigs, podcasts and streaming net radio. Dan Bain PAXAHAU // FAROUT MUSICA // HOUSTON // DETROIT Initially inspired by Detroit techno parties of the late nineties, Dan Bain began DJ’ing in 1999. Blurring lines between genres - focusing instead on emotional context, he has crafted a style that is meant to convey a story. This unique ap-proach has earned him a reputation in Detroit and beyond: as DJ who brings more to a performance than conventional dance music.Known as a curator for a night's most intricate moments and an entertainer who engages each person in the room, Bain continues to share his anecdotes with the world, one record at a time.
