On the back of his critically-lauded debut album In Colour, Jamie xx announces a special headline Perth show at the iconic Belvoir Amphitheatre on Saturday January 2nd.
Taking influence from early 80s and 90s British rave culture and moulding it into his own inimitable hybrid, Jamie xx's music has been met with widespread acclaim from contemporaries and fans both old and new.
His debut album In Colour marks the maturation of Jamie xx as a solo artist and serves as a coming-out party of sorts, becoming his full-length project away from the wildly successful group The xx.
In 100 years time when music historians look back at the most influential electronic music artists of the our generation, you can be sure Four Tet, also known as Kieran Hebden, will be an integral part of that conversation.
A career spanning five studio albums, scores of incredible remixes, and outstanding live shows amongst many other things, the acclaim heaped on Hebden is unshackled by genre, finding fans in every fertile corner of electronic music.
With some ground-breaking mixes for Fabric and K7, as well as a newly minted record label TEXT Records under his belt, here's to many more years of Keiran 'Four Tet' Hebden.
