Headlining the block party will be none other than one of the most talked about electronic music acts Dusky. Dusky are London production duo Nick Harriman and Alfie Granger-Howell. In just three years, the fast-rising duo have asserted themselves as leaders of the UK underground. Also headlining will be DJ Harvey. Dj Harvey needs no introduction. Harvey's sound can be described as a mix of classics, house and techno, an approach which led him to star at nights such as ‘New Hard Left’ and ‘Moist’ and be a resident at Ministry Of Sound in the nineties for both Friday's techno night and Saturdays House night. He made his name through DJing in his own unique way and was an early instigator of re-edits for his now legendary Black Cock label. Quoted as saying you can't understand the blues until you've had your heart broken and you can't understand my music till you've had group sex on ecstasy Harvey was called The Keith Richards of dance music by Rolling Stone Magazine as they named him one of 25 DJ's that rule the earth. Sharing the headlining status is Dirtybird's J. Phlip. Jessica Phillippe is diehard, born with true grit and skills to pay the bills. Despite her success with the Dirtybird gang, she's still out there in record stores on the regular as she diggs and uncoves precious gems and weaving them into her dynamic sets with panache. She's a hard-working, dedicated lady who refuses to compromise and aims to rock the dancefloor without relying on the most obvious tracks. Production-wise she's just as fearsome, lacing her tracks with a tough yet bouncy flavour. Her prowess in both disciplines combined with her infectious sense of fun and mind-boggling depth of knowledge make her one of the most revered DJs on the global circuit today.
