A man of reinvention, Scuba’s crossed genres over the years evolving into one of Europe’s most influential and durable figures in dance music.
Alongside his acclaimed SUB:STANCE parties at Berghain and a relentless touring schedule, his position has been further cemented via plentiful releases on imprints such as Aus and his own label Hotflush. This year saw him bring out his fourth album Claustrophobia; showing more than ever his dramatic approach to techno – a blueprint for his residency.
Italian duo Mind Against come through for the next instalment of Scuba’s residency. Coming from relative obscurity a couple of years ago, they have accelerated right to the frontline of the house and techno conversation, thanks to big room destroyers like ‘Several Times’ and ‘Strange Days’, and new collaboration with Tale of Us, ‘Astral’. Minimal Wave founder Veronica Vasicka also joins, whose digging skills have seen her unearth countless DIY synth jams from the 70s and 80s on her eulogised label. Following their insanely fun party at Scuba's second session, We Play The Music We Love return to host room 2 once again with resident selectors Marcelo Tag, Shizo & Lenka.
