The last few years have seen Kowton releasing a triad of solo work, and collaborations with Julio Bashmore, and a consistently A+ output with his partner in crime Peverelist, crafting gutting, bruising baselines for the snaking groove merchants of Bristol. The massive 'Beneath Radar', more than anything else, paints Kowton as the cities fastest rising star over an ever growing amount of peers.
Boiler Rooms, Fact Mixes, and slots at every festival worth it's salt have defined the last few years of Kowtons existence, and somehow..on a remix tip, he's dropped official remixes for Scottish stadium darlings Chvrches, rubbed his distorted handclaps and shrieking string work over Maya Jane Cole & Surgeon, and constructed a groundbreaking remix for Surgeon, with tape distortion so thickly applied you can almost hear it, before dipping into delirious pockets of behemoth club-subs. #standard
