SASH by day is set to be huge this Sunday, we have a stacked the lineup with two massive international artist and its looking to be on our of biggest ones yet David Keno and Ralph Lawson are flying in to bring you the finest in deep house goodness, two artists who are extremely talented producers/Dj’s and will provide the perfect soundtrack for some day time toe tapping. Warming up the the sunny courtyard first up will be Tomek. Hailing from Newcastle, Tomek runs up & coming party ColourSound with Sydney house veteran Phil Smart : DJ Page. He’s no newcomer and it shows in his ability to consistently deliver a quality set. The two lads from Telefunken have been with us from the beginning, why? 1) because they are absolute legend’s and 2) they play fantastic house music and they are back to grace the decks for the first time at our new outdoor dance emporium.
To polish off a massive day of music, we have a international secret we can’t quite let slip but its something a bit different and you should be excited. A Sydney local by the name of Le Brond will be taking over your airwaves for 3 hours, Le Brond’s a staple in the Sydney scene and for good reason too. Jimi Polar is a much respected Dj in our city and not only has a great red beard but exceptional taste in music. Catch him on closing duties in the terrace.
A very special set is taking place in the Den this Sunday, our main lady Gabby will be going back to back with talented young bloke Daniel George. With Gabby’s obvious history of just always killing it and Daniel’s smooth deep groves, this is going to be a set not to miss. Dave Hawtin was side by side with co-founder and resident of SASH Matt Weir growing up, together they shared music and learnt to Dj. Dave may not play as much as he used to now but by no means has he lost his touch.
If it’s something with a little bit more bass heavy and pitched a bit higher you want, then it’s downstairs in the Box you should be. This week our techno room is hosted by Lokomotive, a new music collective on the rise. Their soundcloud series Lokocast showcases fresh talent and well known artist from around Australia. Representing them will be founder Tyson Brunn and the fresh faced Lachie Simpson. Tyson has slowly been making quite the name for himself in the scene, he’s been playing at some of Sydney’s finest establishment and doing quite a good at it too. Lachie Simpson is part of the fresh group of Sydney kids really pushing the boundary’s in the Sydney scene at the moment. SASH loves supporting up & comers like these guys and we are excited to have them smash the box this Sunday.
If your needing some space and more of a chilled atmosphere with funky jams, get yourself to the maze. Taking control of the music will be Cameron Cooper and Kyle McLeavage. Cameron’s disco game is strong and dance moves even stronger. Kyle McLeavge is a funkaholic, is coming to spread his addiction and hopefully get a few more punters hooked on it with him.
