The World Bank Group Youth2Youth together with its partners are pleased to announce the second annual “International Organizations Holiday Party” on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at The Howard Theatre in Washington, DC!
This annual event brings together young professionals from diverse international organizations-- the World Bank Group, the International Monetary Fund, the Young Professionals in Foreign Policy and Sister Cities International -- to celebrate the year, support inspirational nonprofit organizations that are changing lives in our communities, and to meet and greet fellow professionals dedicated to making a lasting difference in our world and our communities.
Locally based Indie-soul rock band Lookout Gang will kick of the night and get the crowd into the right groove. AZTEC SUN will follow with a funk and soul master class. To top off the night we have DJ Chetaiya transitioning the crowd into electronic sounds, steeped in deep house, followed by Blakfyre to spin the night away, converging the sounds of Latin & Afrobeats, dancehall and more!! Let’s travel the world! Make sure you dress in your cocktail best! This will be a night to remember!

As part of our dedication to improving the lives of our fellow citizens, a portion of proceeds from ticket sales will go to Kidsave International, a global organization that advocates for and supports the adoption of older children (ages 9 to 16) in orphanages and foster care; and Raising a Reader, a locally based US national program whose mission is to engage caregivers in a routine of book sharing with their children from birth through age eight to foster healthy brain development, healthy relationships, a love of reading, and the literacy skills critical for school success.
