We are welcoming back two friends of ours The Boogie Cartel and NY*AK to bring the heat along with General Public resident FLAXMAN.
The Boogie Cartel will be serving up some well dug disco, boogie, 80s electro, soul and Chicago house. These boys Stylishly rub shoulders with giants with the likes of Greg Wilson, Jacques Renault, Todd Terje, Yam Who? and ISM Records. This year saw them play the closing set at the NYC Downlow tent at Glastonbury. They recently released their very own house-boogie crossover ‘Late Night Grind’ EP on Trip City Records. GP had the pleasure of sharing the bill with these guys at Farm Fest, guaranteed knees up vibes.
Also taking the reigns will be NY*AK...a.k.a Andrew Scott, making the journey down from Sunderland to London. This man is going from strength to strength. Releasing some heavy, heavy tracks on ‘Karakul’ Phonica Records label as well as ‘intimate Friends’. Boasting a recent remix by Dj Nature and newly signed to electronic label Technicolour, we are sure to see his name creep up on major line ups very soon.
We can also proudly announce we have bagged our selves one stupidly large disco ball for the occasion.
