Dekmantel proudly launches Selectors, a new intimate festival and a compilation series. The concept of Selectors focuses heavily on Dekmantel’s support for the art of DJ’ing, celebrating the extra-ordinary DJs that turned collecting and playing music into an art form. The festival will take place at the Garden Resort in Tisno and will host just 1500 people with amongst others Hunee, Daniele Baldelli, Helena Hauff, The Black Madonna and Motor City Drum Ensemble on the bill. The latter is also responsible for the first Selectors compilation.
Taking place at the stunning Garden Resort in Tisno, Croatia from the 1st till the 5th of September, Selectors is a very limited-capacity festival that will showcase the talents of some of the world's finest DJs. Dekmantel founder Thomas Martojo: “we immediately fell in love with the intimate, beautiful site and think it’s the perfect place to translate our favourite stage from Dekmantel Festival and really take the time to deepen the idea behind it”. During daylight hours, the festival will take place around a small part of the beautiful coastline of the Adriatic Sea, while the much-cheered Barbarella’s is the place to go during night time. Martojo: “you can expect long sets from some of our favorite DJ’s combined with the usual Dekmantel touch on sound, production and atmosphere.”
Please note that the full night program will be revealed soon, and single night tickets will be available at that time. A small look in the future: our three Selectors, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Young Marco, and Joy Orbison will all three curate one of the nights, welcoming some of their favourite artists…
