- Make Me are super excited to announce their first party of 2016. The London promoters return to Corsica Studios on February 20 with a Detroit legend, one of London’s most forward thinking producers and two of the UK scene’s most respected underground club DJs. DJ Bone is the embodiment of Detroit techno. A veteran DJ and producer who is committed to making, releasing and playing quality club music without compromise. The owner of the Subject Detroit and Encounter labels, Bone rose through the ranks of the Motor City in the mid-90s via his weekly sets at the Love Club (The Shelter) and fortnightly slots on Deep Space Radio. His impeccable selection and fierce mixing technique earned him a reputation that most DJs can only dream about. He’ll be taking a headline slot in Room 1 to show us what the fuss is about. Pearson Sound needs no introduction for fans of UK underground music. As a founding member of Hessle Audio he helped define the sound we’ve been immersed in over the past decade as Dubstep, House, Techno and any other genre you’d care to mention collided and collapsed into a heaving mass of bass-heavy club gear that defies categorisation. He smashed one of our loft parties last year and we can’t wait to have him back at the controls. Jane Fitz has been in the game for over 20 years and has made an undeniable impact on the UK scene through her deep, spacey sets at Freerotation, Field Maneuvers and her own Night Moves party. She is one of the most in-demand club DJs in London right now and is a perfect fit for the deeper end of the Make Me spectrum. Nick Craddock’s star has risen hard and fast over the past two years. Much like his DJ sets which are full of tough, smart club gear that is aimed squarely at the dance floor with a clear aesthetic rooted in classic Detroit and UK techno. A seemingly relentless series of podcasts show the depth of Nick’s record bag and his increasingly high-profile gig schedule shows he knows how to use it.
