Returning after a nearly 2 year wait, Blkmarket Membership is overjoyed to welcome back the French power house trio and Circoloco residents Apollonia for an extended set and a rare NYC appearance. The Apollonia name first appeared in 2012 with the launch of their eponymous label and the joining of forces by Dan Ghenacia, Shonky, Dyed Soundorom, already three of the leading lights of Paris and major figures in Ibiza. Anticipating the resurgence of the Paris scene early on with his own Traffic record shop and the notorious Kwality afterparties on Batofar, Ghenacia launched his Freak’N’Chic label in 2003, notably releasing his future Apollonia collaborators Shonky and Dyed Soundorom as well as Jamie Jones’ early material before closing the label in 2010 after his fame was well-established. Already legendary for their back-to-back sets in Paris, Ibiza, Panoramabar, and elsewhere, it was but a small step for the trio to make the alliance official, and combining their efforts has led them to ever-greater success since then with their 2014 album, a Fabric mix, and high-profile tours on top of continued residencies in Ibiza. There are simply no signs of faltering, and their unique three-way back-to-back-to-back marathon sets captivate crowds worldwide and show their long years of experience and expertise in house and techno. Joined by residents Taimur & Fahad, Blkmarket Membership invites all for a night of world-class music and unusual camaraderie with three of contemporary house music’s most illustrious stars.
