Loose Lips & Dayrise Enterprise present NYE

  • We just got granted a 6am licence and are bringing our own soundsystem, and it's just £5 at the door. We aim to please on New Year's Eve :-) Line-up: - Ashley Casselle https://www.mixcloud.com/ashleycasselle/ As a purveyor of deep electronic music Ashley Casselle enjoys a steady flow of gigs from Brazil to LA, Singapore to Shoreditch. He's currently lapping up a home run playing at many of his favourite haunts in London, such as Corsica Studios, The Egg LDN and Cargo, as well as spinning for Bread & Butter and their unique residency at the sublime Basing House. As happy creating his own unique brand of 'Trip House' in the studio with collaborators as he is on the road performing, he's recently remixed Glastonbury faves The Egg (band) (which he cites as an all time creative high) and twiddled the knobs for Indie Electro darlings Public Service Broadcasting too. A new label starts next year, Dayrise Enterprise, to compliment his regular clubnights (or days, rather), and is set to release some of Casselle's new works. His remix of the Marshall Jefferson classic, Sterling Void's 'It's All Right', is getting props now way before its release date. As a mainstay of the worldwide club scene, Ashley began his deck skills as a backroom dj and warmup for the likes of Sasha & John Digweed at Bedrock in the late 90's, graduating to main room status in the Noughties with tours taking in clubs such as Womb Japan, Space Ibiza & Vinyl in New York, eventually making it into the ever controversial DJ Mag Top 100 Djs poll, whilst enjoying a production career and remixing as Ashtrax. He's even had his picture up in the National Portrait Gallery when a newly published book of deck spinners was featured at the legendary establishment. Now he's proudly going 'back to his roots' in a quest for a new yet classically resonant 'Housey sound' both on the dancefloor and in the studio. - Dan Cat https://www.mixcloud.com/dancat/ Anybody who has witnessed a dj set from Dan Cat will attest that he can take you from real Disco to dirty Detroit Techno in a heartbeat. The Hoxton FM Catzmuzik Show regular has a knack for tackling most styles of underground dance music and presenting them in his own unique way on his travels around London's best nightclubs such as Trapeze, and he's also a regular at the seminal Zombie Soundsystem too. As a gifted producer, he was in Cheshire Catz duo (later just Catz), a favourite of many an electronic music fan, and more recently his solo outings have been well received as well as being remixed by the mighty Techno live wizard Max Cooper. - Medallion Man https://www.mixcloud.com/medallionman/ Medallion Man is co-founder and resident of Loose Lips. He started playing on the radio, developing a unique take on experimental and electronic music. Animating several shows on different stations during recent years, he regularly enthralls listeners with 2 hours of varied sounds. His current project on Hoxton FM sees his Loose Lips show invite artists for guest mixes and interviews on a weekly basis. He plays regularly around the UK and Europe, maintaining a regular presence at South West parties. - T-Scale This new up and coming DJ is a special discovery of Loose Lips and set to be their new resident in 2016 - he'll be warming up the Dalston Social like a little log fire in a Christmasy scene from a movie.
