Studio One legend and long time Prince Fatty collaborator Winston Francis will be performing a live PA to celebrate the launch of his new album. With a career spanning more than 50 years Winston Francis is a household name with classic hits including a remake of the Mamas & the Papas' "California Dreaming," as well as one of his best-known tracks, "Mr. Fix It."
Reggae performer, guitarist, bass player and record producer Dennis Bovell will be playing a DJ set, spinning an exclusive selection from his personal dub plate collection.
On top of performing both Prince Fatty and Dennis Bovell will be leading exclusive workshops upstairs, delving into the dub plate twilight zone, speaking about the fundamental principles of recording and mixing, discussing tracks and versions and the work that goes into creating them. Dennis Bovell will take apart tracks from the classic album Silly Games by Janet Kay delving deep into the process behind creating the music.
