  • Antal Amsterdam's Rush Hour founder Antal is a hugely versatile DJ that can wave together house and techno or Afro and disco just as ably. He's been doing it since the Nineties and has done so from the States to Australia, Europe to Asia at the same time as digging deep into many musical forms away from the dance. For those in the know, Rush Hour - the label he runs with a close group of key people - is a faultless record label and cherished store. As well as releasing the most exciting new music, the label is famed for its on-point re-issues of forgotten old classics whilst the shop stocks records bought on crate digging trips around the world. Solar In 1994, Solar and a couple other Djs began bringing a sound system and a generator to the Berkeley Marina for free gatherings to dance and watch the sun set behind the San Francisco skyline. As these Sunset parties grew from dozens to hundreds, and now thousands of attendees, Solar become one San Francisco's best loved DJs. Known for his eclectic sets, blending Techno, Disco, House, Electro and electronic music with the energy of Punk and Psychedelic Rock, Solar has built a loyal following among a discerning crowd of dancers and party goers used to hearing every touring DJ you've ever heard of. Nearly twenty years of playing music for crowds large and small has evolved a style of Djing that seamlessly fuses the best of classic and modern dance music. More recently as resident and co-creator of the No Way Back parties, Solar has earned the reputation of a DJ devoted to the art of mixing and selecting music without regard to ephemeral fashion, trends or fads. Max Graef t's easy to hear Max Graef's music as a collection of influences. There's Berlin, his hometown, where playing records feels as natural as riding a bike. There's his love of live instruments, built through the years he's spent playing them. And then there's house music and the funk, soul, disco, jazz and hip-hop that feed into it—all of which bleed together at Oye Records, the record shop in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg that may as well be Max's living room. As a producer, DJ and now bandleader, he embodies all of the above. Yet no matter how many facts you know about Max, his music still catches you off-guard—what he's grabbed out of the ether is freely available, but the maturity and inventiveness he strings it together with couldn't have come from anyone else. Muff Deep Muff Deep is Emil Margetli Nyholm, head buyer, chief fluffer & boss of the Tartelet Record label. Originally from the mean streets of Copenhagen and now residing in a gentrified Berlin penthouse. When not running the worlds’s foremost analogue jazz house record label he can be found combining yoga lessons, long walks along the canal with occasional sub Saharan African disco vinyl record digging. 10” only. An eager record collector, with colorful taste, encompassing everything from house and techno to soul and samba. Emil also turns his hand to production, both solo and as one half of CTEPEO ’57 (with Max Graef) with releases on Tartelet, Box aus Holz, Voyage Recordings and The Gym Records.
