- ICELANDIC EXPERIMENTAL MINIMALIST TECHNO DUO Kiasmos is made up of Icelandic BAFTA-winning composer Ólafur Arnalds, known for his unique blend of minimal piano and string compositions with electronic sounds, and Iceland-based producer Janus Rasmussen, known as the mastermind and vocalist of the electro-pop outfit Bloodgroup as well as having produced and mixed many known Icelandic artists. Both living in Reykjavík, the two musicians found themselves working together on various musical projects through which they discovered their common love for minimal, experimental music. Kiasmos has a sound which is both ambient and textured, making it a perfect home listen and equally danceable record.
