See you soon! // Sure Thing & Parameter Present— Robert Hood (M-Plant, Detroit/Alabama) As one of Detroit Techno's most singular and influential figures, Robert Hood's legacy spans his role as a founding member of the legendary Underground Resistance and owner of the prototypical M-Plant imprint. His releases on the above, as well as Juan Atkins' Metroplex and Jeff Mills' Axis labels, have served as a blueprint for the unmistakably raw and hyponotic techno that could only have come from Detroit. Following several releases as Floorplan, a melodic side-project that saw Hood headlining nearly every major festival in 2015, Hood now returns to his stripped-down roots to remind us why he's sits at the top, and no one else even comes close.
