- Cutting Shapes presents CUTTING WAVES, our first annual boat party! It’s a beautiful time to be alive in Melbourne & what better way to experience the Burn’city summer then with a 4 hour boat cruise through the Docklands waterways and out on to our magical bay. The Victoria Star is the flag ship double story cruiser for Melbourne’s boat fleet. We will be making the most of this old girl by implementing two dance floors for twice the happy fun times. Upstairs: Party jams with international sensation Fantastic Man, You may remember him from such alias’ as Mic Newman and Aussie lord. Complementing him nicely (if we do say so ourselves) will be the boys from Cutting Shapes - Jesse Young, Jean Pierre and Tim Murphy. Downstairs: We’ll be taking you to a tropical island far, far away, with soulful notes, Balearic jamborees & disco treasures from local legend Edd Fisher as well as Sanctuary coming all the way from Berlin. Whilst sailors have been known to be quite fond of their rum. Unfortunately management reserves the strict right to refuse overly-tipsy patrons from boarding.
