After running through Bristol and Manchester, Red Bull Culture Clash once again returns to London for the fifth time with a heavier lineup than ever before.
The first challengers stepping into the ring are Eskimo Dance, originally founded by the Godfather of Grime, Wiley, who built a home for the who’s who of grime talent and a reputation for legendary raves over the last decade. Brooklyn-based rivals Mixpak will step up next. Under this banner sought-after producer Dre Skull, assembled some of Jamaica’s biggest stars, from the likes of Popcaan, to Vybz Kartel, Beenie Man, and Spice. Third up, bringing a completely different flavour to the Culture Clash mix will be the UKG All Stars, a freshly formed collective made up of the great and good of UK garage with an undeniable catalogue of two-step classics. The final contender, repping for the US, will be led by global sensation Wiz Khalifa and Taylor Gang Entertainment, having a roster of rap powerhouses and impressive collaborations to their name.
With its roots in Jamaican soundclash culture, each event sees four collectives competing over four rounds, utilising their biggest tunes, freshly cut dubs, special guests, performances and surprises to win over the crowd and walk away as champion.
