  • Techno. As summer continues so do our annual Open Air series and in February we return to the Railway Hotel Brunswick with one of our biggest lineups to date for our last Open Air of 2016. But don’t worry, they will be back for a 4th year in the Summer of 2017! Joining us from Sydney will be phile, the collaborative project of Gareth Psaltis and Hannah Lockwood. The pair explore techno through experimentation with modular synthesis and live hardware manipulation. phile's productions combine their individual studies and practice in sound design and audio engineering. Moopie is one of Melbourne's most eclectic and respected collectors, someone whose sets can and do comprise of almost anything. A quiet achiever who has earned himself a spot on top UK label Jealous God as well as being one of the people behind a colourful storm. We are rapt to have him join us. Dan White is one of many production alias of Melbourne born Rory McPike. Through various genres, styles and setups he explores the reaches of experimental electronic music. At 24 years old he has released on the acclaimed Canadian techno label Forbidden Planet and local Melbourne label Butter Sessions, with plenty more music forthcoming for the rest of 2015 on various other labels and formats in Australia and beyond. Rounding out the lineup will be past guests and local favourites Craig McWhinney, Matt Radovich, Luke Stein, Sly Faux, Kempken and Bunker residents Tercat (LIVE) and Adrian Bell.
