The application phase for the 2016 edition of the Red Bull Music Academy is in full swing! To pave the way for Montreal, we’re setting up a national tour with Canada’s own beat maverick Lunice.
Fresh off his recent tour with Madonna, the Montreal-based Academy alum will treat audiences to a sneak peek at his brand new live show. Additional support will come from fellow London 2010 alum Ango, and last year’s RBMA participant HomeSick.
Over the past few years, Lunice Fermin Pierre II has taken hold of the futuristic beats scene across Canada and the US, and subsequently set ears and heads ablaze around the globe with his mixture of beats, bass, and splintered electronica. His solo showmanship and his collaborative project with fellow RBMA grad Hudson Mohawke, TNGHT, have helped to shape the sound of clubland for a long time to come.
