- Mad Racket has had an annual Mardi Gras party for longer than we'd care to mention, and our guest this year is one of our most appropriate ever: The Black Madonna, on her return trip to Australia. On her debut trip last year, she truly lived up to the hype, bringing a whole lot of vibes, love and great music. Moving from sleazy Chicago house to disco to acid and back, nothing is off the table in a Black Madonna set. Her phenomenal rise in the world of house music over the last few years is well and truly deserved, and we can't wait to once again dance with Marea at the controls. We're also moving a few hundred metres down the road and have earlier start and finish times. We'll be bringing the Racket vibes to The Factory Theatre, with music outside in the evening and then moving inside to the specially installed Bowl-O-Sonic audio and visual extravaganza.
