Time to announce Pinnacle number eight - it’s been quite the sonic journey so far! Along the way our love for proper music of utter industry-grade destruction has only grown. To such proportions, even, that we’ve decided to host three (3) events this semester. We’ve already had 138 and suerte_ permanently damage your sense for subtle aesthetics in the very beginning of this semester; now let us introduce to you: Toxic Waste Buried.
T/W/B is a very young (°July 2015), ambitious and promising Lyon based label, and a solid supporting platform for upcoming artists experimenting within the electronic brutalist techno scene. Featuring on TWB001 through 003 are, amongst others, Martyn Hare, Rezystor, Aloner and RVDE. Their fourth release, by Pls.Uk co-founder FLmm, is being made public by the end of February. Other exciting digital releases are already planned up until 2017, and vinyl records are awaited. Pinnacle has taken the liberty of inviting over four of T/W/B’s groundbreaking noise composers.

Italian techno power duo. Having released absolutely straightforward bangers on our guest label T/W/B (“Crsh”, for one) and having played at Corsica Studios’s Jaded, these MX Lab Milan regulars know what they’re talking about. We’re not sure you’re quite ready for the abrasive ruckus they call “a party”, but we’re univocally positive you’ll dig it!

We’re very excited to be inviting our very first Dutch guest, as anyone with an ear or two knows Holland has its facts straight concerning rave culture. Besides having played at an edition of the already legendary Where House series in Petrol and releasing home-made killer tracks, he’s about to release the first EP (featuring i.a. Ontal and Ayarcana) on his very own Black Carpet label. Also, did we mention it’s live?

Co-founder of Pls.Uk, another fairly young label containing what are without any doubt some of our favourite tracks of the year (Ansome’s Kenneggy?!). As mentioned above he has an EP of his own coming on T/W/B soon, but his 'Harbot' project (together with … Empyrean!) is gaining international interest as well (again: Jaded). Proper industrial stuff!

As you might have noticed, we’ve invited an entire Italian gang.
