Now in our third year of the residency series, we’re confident in choosing the perfect resident. Not only do we look for a talent that goes beyond the decks, but an XOYO resident also needs a unique personality and fierce passion for everything they do.
Arguably one of the most engaging characters in dance music, Tiga's had a roaring few years. Asides from a relentless DJ and live schedule, he’s been behind some of the biggest dance floor hits of late (check ‘Let’s Go Dancing’ and ‘Bugatti’)… There’s solid truth in him naming his residency ‘Tiga: Non Stop’.
Alongside, we have a bona fide and genuine legend in the game. Put the name Cajmere or that of his other alias Green Velvet into a Youtube search, and you'll find a vast treasure trove of classic, pumping house goodness. You can't not enjoy the way he DJs, as eccentric and fun-loving as it is intense and awe-inspiring - we're blessed to welcome him in to our DJ booth for this residency night.
As a producer, Danny Daze puts together an impressive range of grooving, melodic electro drawing on italo-house and techno. He's seen releases on Kompakt, Comeme, Phantasy, Ultramajic and Tiga's own Turbo Recordings. Danny's club shows are built on similarly diverse, but always energy-filled sounds that exude swagger, and a Miami B-boy confidence.
