Now in our third year of the residency series, we’re confident in choosing the perfect resident. Not only do we look for a talent that goes beyond the decks, but an XOYO resident also needs a unique personality and fierce passion for everything they do.
Arguably one of the most engaging characters in dance music, Tiga's had a roaring few years. Asides from a relentless DJ and live schedule, he’s been behind some of the biggest dance floor hits of late (check ‘Let’s Go Dancing’ and ‘Bugatti’)… There’s solid truth in him naming his residency ‘Tiga: Non Stop’.
Accompanying him will be Chilean-born and German-raised Matias who, we're sure you'll agree has quite a head on his shoulders, and most importantly, quite a set of ears. Blending the funky sensibilities of his South American heritage with the slick, pumping production techniques. He's the founder of Comeme, and has been closely support by legendary German label, Kompakt. Don't be surprised to see him whispering sweet nothings through the mic at you, over the top of select house and techno tracks.
There are a select group of producers out there, that just that something about them, that makes them unforgettable. Maybe it's his timely and not-at-all-cheesy use of guitar samples or his surprisingly satisfying take on plodding, hippy-flavoured house music - but Rebolledo is one of that ilk. And as a DJ and as one half of the Pachangas Boys, the Mexican will take you on a trip you won't forget soon.
