The world of Tokyo’s No.1 avant garde collective
Through a huge catalogue of releases and all kinds of numerous events, BLACK SMOKER RECORDS has been a vital driving force in Tokyo underground since 2000, absorbing everything from hip hop, dub, jazz, rock, noise, experimental music to DJ culture, dance and art. BLACK SAFARI is a club night implementation of their universe. A member DJ YAZI, Yosuke Yukimatsu from Osaka and KOBA will be at your service with the turntables, and two collaborative live performances will take place in the main room. A member artist K-BOMB together with an innovative hip hop artist 5lack, and an unconventional hip hop duo Moe and ghosts together with an alternative rock band Kukan Gendai. Don’t forget to check out an array of inventive DJs in the second room, and the distinctive visual art works.

2000年から日本語ラップ、ダブ、ジャズ、ロック、ノイズ、実験音楽、DJカルチャー、ダンス、アートなど、あらゆるヤバい表現を飲み込みながら、リリース作品や様々なイベントを通じて驚異的なアウトプットを続けてきた、東京随一のアヴァンギャルド集団BLACK SMOKER RECORDS。BLACK SAFARIは、彼らがデザインするクラブ・イベントだ。メイン・フロアではメンバーのYAZIと大阪の行松陽介、KOBA.が選曲を担当し、２組のコラボレーション・ライブも行われる。メンバーのK-BOMBと革新的ヒップホップ・アーティストの5lack、そして共作アルバムを出したばかりの異色ヒップホップ・ユニットMoe and ghostsとオルタナティブ・バンド空間現代。セカンド・フロアはDJ HIKARU、Q a.k.a. INSIDEMAN、SEX山口、ceroの高城晶平がDJとして出演。ROKAPENISとKLEPTOMANIACによるヴィジュアル・アートが彼らの独創的な世界を彩る。
