This year’s Dekmantel Festival kicks-off with eight unique opening concerts at Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ, EYE Film Museum, Bimhuis and Tolhuistuin. During our Opening Day, you can combine the concerts with free activities like the Dekmantel Festival Opening Conference hosted by Resident Advisor, a special club night, a live radio broadcast hosted by Red Light Radio and The Rest Is Noise, a screening of the documentary ‘Industrial Soundtracks Of The Urban Decay’, and several food points. The Dekmantel Festival Opening Day is supported by the AFK (Amsterdams Fonds for the Kunst).
Tickets for the individual concerts are available at our ticket page, but make sure you don’t buy tickets for overlapping concerts. Take in account half an hour transfer time between Tolhuistuin and EYE and the same for the route from Muziekgebouw to Bimhuis. For the trip between concerts at Tolhuistuin, EYE, Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ and Bimhuis we provide free (extra) ferry rides. Take in account 60 minutes for traveling between this concerts.
