You could argue that two of the best, and certainly most musically diverse, Avant Garde events took place at the East London den of inquity that happens to be Oval Space. We've been looking for the right kind of artist to follow the likes of Apparat and Trentemøller in said space, and after a lot of searching we reckon we've found our musician...
GUI BORATTO, the Brazilian electronician extraordinaire, will be bringing his eclectic live-set to East London this June (straight from Awakenings, no less), playing his blend of emotional techno and electronica live. A regular on the likes of Kompakt and renowned for some incredible remixes, the main man's own imprint, D.O.C Records, has been on the rise across the continents.
Support for the enigmatic Boratto is provided by Katermukke favourite GUNJAH, who has also released on the likes of Stil Vor Talent and Freude Am Tanzen, as well as fellow Kompakt collaborator SHARRE. Resident troublemaker RABOTA represents the Avant Garde musical contigent; you should know what to expect from him by now!
