As electronic sounds continue spreading in Bahrain, Novotel Bahrain Al Dana Resort is glad to announce its next gig on its beach, in partnership with the Embassy of France in Bahrain and the "Alliance Française".
This time, we bring you a French son of Bahrain: FORK&SOL!
Born on the island, he grew in an universe of Rock, Metal, Funk, Soul and Hip Hop. Globe trotter, he inspired himself from ethnic sounds of Kenya and oriental vibes from the East.
He decided to make music his job, and as a self learner, he played not only in such famous local clubs as Bushido and Tabu but also in Indonesia.
Getting back to his roots, he returned to France to learn culinary arts. This was an opportunity for him to play in "La Konnection", the "Excalibur", the "Brasserie de l'Univers", "Le Mao" and legendary "Chez Regine" in Paris.
He next decided to follow a course of musical production at the famous school of music "Tous en Scene" in Tour.
While his name spreads fast, you would meet him more recently at "Harry's Club", dedicated to house and techno in Tours, as he not only plays there, he is also their artistic director.
FORK&SOL however will not be our only gift on that day as Captain Tea, our local DJ and producer from Boho Baha honors us with a talented warm up.
